and I can't believe Drosopigi has a web site!
My father came from that town, which I visited way back in the 60's
and I remember they had no electricity! It was like stepping back
into time. I also remember the mules, goats, honey and the darkness
of night. The "t" in my name stands for Telis and I probably
still have relatives there. Wonderful that you link to an astronomy
site - I am an amateur astronomer. The blackest sky I have ever
seen was in Drosopigi - they told stories of the nerides in the
mountains.
