Vasilis
Papakonstantinou is one of my favourite Greek Singers. He influenced
my song writing in the early 1980's especially with the Fovamai
album. He was born on 21 June
1950 in a village called Vasta, outside of Megalopolis, Arcadia,
Greece. I
have seen Vasilis Papakonstantinou in concert in Perth, Australia
in 1981 and I saw him playing an outdoor concert in Ptolemaida,
Greece in 1988.
